A quick Dele and Eric vid to round off the season!
It’s been 3 yrs and my dad hasn’t stopped disapproving of my relationship because my boyfriend’s a Chelsea fan.

‘He’s a posh twat, you can do better’
‘I can’t wait for him to break your heart, I’ll have an excuse to punch him in the gut’

I’ve seen too much hate for Poch on social media, fans jumping on the bandwagon, since our defeat in the FA Cup semi-final. To be honest, I think it’s ridiculous.
Let’s not forget the last time we finished above Arsenal before the 16/17 season (I wasn’t even born and I’m in my twenties). It was several years, too many years, and there wasn’t a fan who ever thought it could happen. But Poch made it happen last season, and with the gap between the two clubs this season, it’s most likely going to happen again.
Remember the days when we weren’t even qualifying for the Champions League? Yet if we finish the season with a high, this will be our third season in a row.
‘The Wembley Hoodoo’ was shut down with Poch in charge. Everyone, including us, thought we wouldn’t do well there. But here we are looking at a top four finish, and so far we’ve only lost two league games this season. I say we wait for the new stadium to arrive, see what it brings, before we push Poch out the door.
Two more things having Poch as our manager include: two Premier League title challenges (and I strongly believe it would have been a third if it wasn’t for Man City blowing the entire league away) and beating Chelsea at Stamford Bridge for the first time in 28 years.
I’m all for everyone being entitled to their own opinion, but I noticed someone use ‘we aren’t winning trophies’ as a reason for wanting Pochettino to leave the club. And they’re right — we’re in the same position we’ve been in for the past 10 years: without a trophy. But the difference is: we’re challenging for said trophies now, and I genuinely believe it’s only a matter of time.
He may be magic, but he’s also human. He’ll continue to make mistakes, and decisions we don’t always agree with, but there’s no doubt in my mind that Mauricio Pochettino’s the best man to take us forward.
‘It’s not home.’
THANK YOU, ERIC DIER 👏🏻
